Role and history
Elric hails from a wild land across the Eastern Sea, an outsider to Veleh and its three-empire squeeze. As Centurion he is bound to the Grimoire like every soldier beneath him, but where the others are spent and replaced across a single saga, Elric endures — the constant at the head of a company whose numbers fall and reset around him. His loyalty runs to the contract, not to the men who die fulfilling it; he keeps the Hundred-Eleven a functioning weapon and lets sentiment fall where the roster does.
Powers and techniques
Elric carries the standard gifts of the Grimoire's brand — strength, endurance, resistance to magic, and clean healing — trained through the disciplined combat the company calls the Pattern. What sets him apart is not a technique but a duration: a service far longer than a single life should allow. The mechanism is unstated. The drafts pose the length of his service as a question and decline to answer it.

Elric's impossible longevity sits beside the Grimoire's roster of thousands on a company only ever 111 strong — the puzzle the wiki calls the mystery of #45. Whether the door by which the roster refills is one of the five doors, and whether a Centurion is simply a name passed down rather than a man who persists, are threads the wiki keeps open.
