A recurring pattern across the weave — a dying high-realm being seeds a lower stitch with a fragment of itself, whether as blood-drops, soul-ash in a relic, or blood soaked into a sapling. A living mystery the wiki tracks, never a confirmed crossing.
The Scattered Master is a thread the wiki tracks across the Loom: in more than one stitch, a dying being of high realm does not simply die but seeds a lower world with a fragment of itself, so that its road — or its revenge, or its inheritor — outlives its body. The pattern is a Resonance (catalogued as R7), a theory the wiki may deepen but must not declare a confirmed crossing.
The master dies. The seed does not. The two facts have never been proven to be the same fact.
What is open
Nothing here is confirmed as a crossover. What the thread observes is a shape repeated in three worlds that have never met — and it holds the question of why the shape repeats, without answering it.
Resonances it touches
- The hundred blood-drops — In Blaze, the hunted master Whiteflame scatters his dying soul into a hundred blood-drops flung across the weave; one seeds the Blaze Tempering road of Rin, and his wisp teaches its first layers before leaving a revenge debt.
- The soul-ash in the relic — In the Nine Vaults Continent, the Hollow Lantern holds the soul-ash of a dead immortal, which teaches Lu Chen at the price of his own soul's years.
- The blood in the sapling — In Sky Pillar, Evergreen wakes to sentience after absorbing the blood of a dying cultivator, and climbs from a roadside sapling toward Monarch.
Theories
Three readings compete, and the wiki keeps all three alive rather than choosing. The scattering may be a way to cheat the severance — the price of the ninth realm, which snaps every thread binding a Primordial God to their home world; a master who seeds himself downward keeps a foothold his own ascension would otherwise sever. It may be a way to plant an inheritor, entrusting a road to a stranger who can climb where the master could not. Or the seeds may be involuntary, the debris of a high-realm death, waking things their makers never intended.
Open hooks
Whether any scattered fragment has ever reunited with another, or with the master who cast it; whether a seeded inheritor can be made to serve the one who seeded them; and whether the between-place above the Loom is itself seeded with the fragments of the Primordial Gods it exiles.
